Hello & welcome to my business website. Please have a look around at my work & contact me if you would like to enquire about Occasion or Wedding Makeup. I would love to hear from you!
How do I know I’m choosing the right MUA?
Choosing a Makeup Artist can be daunting for some people and there are lots of different styles of makeup available, so it is important to choose the right person for you. Firstly I would say, don’t be afraid to ask questions. Lots of people apologise for asking question after question but you shouldn’t apologise. This is one of the biggest days of your life, you want it to be everything you’ve dreamt of and more! I am here to answer your questions, please ask as many as you like, the more information you have the more comfortable you will feel securing your wedding date. I can honestly say, there is no better feeling for me than helping my clients get ready for what will be, one of the most important days of their life! The service I provide doesn’t start and end on your wedding day. I like to stay in contact with my brides every step of the way, I am here to support my clients prior to their wedding and on the day itself. I am there in the morning to help your bridal party prepare, right up until you walk down the aisle. I can also be there in the evening of your wedding if this is an add on service you desire.
Do I really need a trial?
Trials are not compulsory and lots of people who book, say they love my style of makeup and have complete confidence in me therefore they do not opt for one. However, I must say, this is a service that I could not recommend more! It is an hour and a half, detailed appointment in which we perfect your desired makeup. We look at the style of your dress, your hair inspiration, colour scheme etc. Every little detail helps me understand your style and therefore allows me to tailor a look suited perfectly to you! I recommend booking your trial 2-4 months prior to your wedding, I try my best to accommodate with days however, with weekends being busy with Weddings this may need to be scheduled in for a week day. Trials tend to take place at my home studio in South Lanarkshire, Glasgow. I can however, travel to a location of your choice for trial bookings of three or more people. This is not just a makeup appointment, this is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and prepare for your big day.
Booking your makeup
What is the process?
When enquiring i ask potential clients to send me the following details; wedding date, venue, ceremony start time, bridal party number and exactly who requires makeup. This allows me to write out a quote for you based on your requirements which I will then send over as well as a breakdown of pricing. If you are happy with your quote and would like to secure your date I will then send over deposit information and payment details. Once your deposit payment is received, your date is then added to my diary and is completely secured. Your bridal form is then written including contact details for yourself, makeup prep information and requirements, payments received, balance outstanding and cancellation policy. A copy will then be emailed over to you. Final payment is required no later than one week prior to your date.
